Bonjour,
Je viens d'acheter un V8 fastack 2005 et constate qu'il y a manifestement un défaut de fabrication au niveau du remplissage de réservoir.

Chaque plein dure entre 10 et 15 mn selon le type de pompe à essence. Est-ce quelqu'un à une info ou un renseignement pour régler ce problème ?

Probleme connu par Ford... TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) 05-4-8 la dessus.

Y parait que si tu tournes la pompe poignee vers la haut ca ameliore un peu

Si tu as une garantie, alors tu peux te faire installer un nouveau reservoir.

Dearborn, Michigan. You pull up to the fuel pump at the local gas station and begin fueling your 2005 Ford Mustang, however, it fills very slowly. The condition may be described as, repeated fuel pump shutoffs when filling the fuel tank. According to Ford, should this condition occur, the fuel tank needs to be replaced.

While Ford has told dealers to replace the fuel tanks, the dealer will only replace the fuel tanks upon customer request. Further, Ford will not notify owners of 2005 Ford Mustangs of this condition.

Your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer will install fuel tank part number "5R3Z-9002-AA" under provisions of the new vehicle warranty and the Federal emissions warranty.

Merci pour ces précieuses infos, bien qu'elle ait 1 an et 4 mois, je vais essayer de faire prendre le remplacement du réservoir en garantie.

Pas de problème!
Normalement la garantie Ford aux US est de trois ans, mais en France c'est sans doute une autre histoire!

Il semble quand même que le réservoir de remplacement ne résouds pas totalement le problème. Sa forme (double-haricot passant sur l'arbre de transmission) ne facilite pas le remplissage ...
