The profile of the typical Mustang owner is anything but typical. Most Mustang owners are awesome, have way above average intelligence and typically bowl overhand. There are a lot of you out there, but this month’s story is about Daniel Bejines from San Fernando, Los Angeles area, California. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

Legend has it that Chuck Norris once took a leak into a tanker truck just for fun. That truck became Optimus Prime. But it takes more than super human bodily fluids to transform an already awesome 2011 Ford Mustang V6 into a show stopping trophy car. But Daniel is well on his way to doing just that.

Over the last year, Daniel has transformed his car from a Premium Pony package car to what you see today – which amounts to a lot of changes for a working man taking care of his family.Image IPB

Daniel likes to work on his own car, so the Boss front end, the Raxiom Headlamps, the rear diffuser, and the Borla Exhaust Mufflers are just some of his handiwork. Daniel has also lowered the car and added 20 inch Foose Wheels.

So what does Daniel spend his time doing when he is not at car shows or working on his car? He worked at Warner Brothers for a couple years, then went to work for Hasbro as a production coordinator for a cartoon that is going to air this April. And while that may sound like a really cool job, it is actually a really, really cool job.

So when the best time of year rolls around, with the soft autumn breezes and beautiful colors of fall, and people start gearing up for that particular consumer holiday, the standard off-the-shelf pirate suit with the plastic sword just won’t cut it. Check out our gallery where you will find one of the finest Iron Giant costumes I have ever seen. Image IPBOnly to be topped by a hand built Transformers ™ Optimus Prime costume with working chest light and eyes.

And when it came time to do a Transformers â„¢ costume, I asked if he had considered Bumble Bee. But being a Mustang guy, it had to NOT be Bumble Bee. The attention to detail on the costume is really impressive. And the attention it draws is really cool. With all the cars parked at Cars & Coffee on a Saturday morning in Orange County, California, it is hard to draw a crowd. But when Daniel brought out the chest and helmet from his costume and put it under his hood, people young and old were delighted to come over and check it out.

The same attention to detail and commitment to all things cool and awesome that Daniel shows with his work and play, he is using to transform his Mustang into one bad machine. Daniel is actively looking for sponsors to help take things to the next level – particularly in the performance department. His plans include adding a supercharger and big brake kit. The ultimate goal would be to have The Fastest V6 Mustang around. So any of you sponsors out there that are looking for a class act to help represent your brand, both in Southern California as well as 2012 SEMA show, give Daniel a call.

Check out the list of Daniel’s mods so far;

That list of mods is not too bad for a year’s time, on a car owned by a hard working guy without his own car shop. Jenny 2 is what Daniel has named his Mustang, it being his second pony car. Daniel’s original Jenny was actually handed down to him by none other than the Body Ink Mustang Guy – Daniel Velarde, after he won the 2010 Mustang Unleashed promotion car with the skeleton horse painted down the sides. One great event leading to an act of kindness, leading to a car crash, leading to a totalled Jenny 1, which led to Jenny 2. Read it again, it’ll all make perfect sense.

Thanks Daniel, for letting us feature your vehicle and your personality. Like peanut butter and chocolate, they go together perfectly. Unless you have allergies to lactose or peanuts.
